This incident caused the temporary closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
