Another former external BBC specialist questioned by the committee, Caroline Daniel, states she takes the British Broadcasting Corporation with great importance and that it maintains a "ongoing system and active debate" across evolving and intricate issues.
"Whether the BBC was ready to engage in a proper dialogue and debate and act accordingly?" she reflects. "As I see it, affirmative, they were."
